“Production No. 2” Musically Launched

The grand musical launching of Infinity Entertainment’s “Production No. 2” was held at Bollywood Studio, Andheri (W) on 1^st Feb., 2010 under the supervision of music director Ashok Kumar  ‘Deep’. On the occasion, presenter Raj Chopra and Babu Bhai of Bollywood Equipment broke the auspicious coconut. Vinay Anand, Nandini Singh, Pankj Kesari, Ruby Singh, Seema Singh, Dharmesh Kumar, Samarth, Vijaylal Yadav, Harry, Pooja Singh, Rajesh Muglu, Rajesh, Ajay Srivastava, Ramesh Salvi, Gaurang Saha, Murli and others were presented on the occasion. The film is being produced by P. Mishra and cinematographed & directed by Shaad Kumar. It is written by Santosh Mishra, lyrics by Ashok Kumar ‘Deep’ & Pyarelal Yadav and choreography by Ram Dewan. Co-producers Bano Ali and Jitendra Singh.

“Hum Hain Karam Yoddha” Musically Launched

A Film Workshop Production’s “Hum Hain Karam Yoddya” was launched with the song recording at Deep Audio, Yari Road, Andheri (W) on Feb. 4, under the supervision of music director Om Jha.. The song, rendered by Kalpana and it was penned by Ram Vinod Paswan. Another 7 songs, rendered by Udit Naarayan, Vinod Rathod, Sadhna Sargam, Indu Sonali, Rekha Rao, Dharna and Om Jha himself. The film is being produced by Guddu Singh and directed by Swapnil Mayekar from his own story-screenplay. It has story by Manoj Kumar Singh, choreography by Sunil Motwani, action Gabbar Singh and cinematography by Nandlal Chaudhary. Production Manager : Mohan Kumar. It stars, Sudip Pandey, Priya Sharma, Komal Dhillon, Dr. Satya Narayan ‘Ujala’, Shambhu Prasad, Deep Jyoti, Farha Naaz, JeetuYadav, Ramesh Dube, Jyoti Verma, Monika Verma, Rajesh Sharma, Noor Mohammad and Seema Singh (Item girl).

Two events of album Don King in one day in Bangalore

Misti Mukherjee and his family not only organised store visit in Banglore for promotion of album Don King but also organised a lavish party at Athena in Banglore where they  invited lots of bollywood friends for both the events.D J Sheizwood reached on day of event .Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani along with Ejaz Khan also reached Banglore to wish Misti and Dj Sheizwood all the best for their success of album.First event started at Planet M at brigade road in Banglore where Dj Sheizwood sang two song from the album with Misti Mukherjee.Entire brigade road was blocked as the artist reached the venue.Vivek Oberoi told media that he came only to wish Misti,DJ Sheizwood and Manik Soni very best for the album.After the store visit they came to Athena where Aftab Shivdasani,Guru Kiran,Ejaz Khan,Manik Soni,MR & MRS C Mukherjee,Samrat Mukherjee were waiting for the surprise party.Vivek Oberoi,Misti Mukherjee and DJ Sheizwood went to console room as he venue was zam packed.Drinks and starters were flowing through the entire party.Misti Mukherjee managed to change two dresses for two events.Great way of promoting the album with stars friends.Thats why it is said a friend in need is a friend indeed.

It’s a good news for Bhojpuri world speared all over world that first time any Bhojpuri film BRIJWA will be release in Pakistan. BRIJWA is produced by Payal Dubey and directed by Manjul Thakur. Jitesh Dubey is the presenter of BRIJWA. Based on nexlite, BRIJWA will be release in Pakistan in the month of January, 2010. It’s a multi starrer film including Bhojpuri Super Star Vinay Anand, Sudip Pandey, Deepak Dubey, Gunjan Pant, Kalpana Shah and Sadhika Randhava. According to Jitesh Dubey, BRIJWA  will be release in Pakistan with 16 prints and we are trying that BRIJWA also release in Multiplex Theater of Pakistan. Pakitani distributor has bought this film on a highest price. Before the release in Pakistanis theaters, Promos will be also hit on the screen. Lends support to NGO LIFE Trust’s ‘Joy In A Box’ initiative in aid of 5,000 Anaganwadi kids

Santa Sonam Kapoor delighted 500 Anganwadi kids at a special event held in the city today. Organised by NGO Landmark International Foundation for Empowerment (LIFE Trust), The ‘Joy In A Box’ initiative aims to spread the joy of Christmas across the Anganwadis (pre-primary Government-aided nurseries) in Mumbai. The Trust has collected over 2,000 new educational toys that will benefit over 5,000 Anganwadi children.

The ‘Joy In A Box’ initiative was rolled out in November with contribution centres at schools, colleges and offices in Mumbai. LIFE Trust appealed to several educational institutions, corporates, toy manufacturers and philanthropists. The response from the large-hearted Mumbaikars was overwhelming and culminated into a gala Christmas party where the best performing Anganwadis were facilitated.

The new dostana for Misti Mukherjee  

In an industry where friendship comes hard, model turned actress Misti Mukherjee seems to have stuck gold. Sonu Sood and Sammir Dattani are two people she had met at a show some time back and they struck an immediate chord. So much that all three have almost become inseparable and are seen together at all parties they visit. But it does not end there. The three are now very keen on signing up for shows together and the trio has already done four shows on the trot. “All three are just great friends,” Misti clarifies when we ask if there are traces of a romance somewhere. “We enjoy in each others company and are always there for each other. I hope we work in a movie some day. That would be fun,” adds the actress who has just signed two huge Tamil films. Incidentally both Sonu and Sammir are big stars in Telugu and Kannada film industries respectively. Misti also knows various languages as kannad,tamil,telgu,benali,hindi,english.Maybe we can see a new dostana here!

When Bappa wished ‘All the Best’!!! 

The entire team of the film, including Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse  along with Director Rohit Shetty visited the temple on Friday morning to launch the music of the film. Giving  them company were music director Pritam and Krishan Kumar representing T-Series (as head honcho Bhushan Kumar  was not in town).  Bollywood stars, producers and directors visiting temples at the time of a film’s release in not a new phenomena  but a producer actually releasing the music of his film at a temple  Interestingly, Ajay Devgn picked up Fardeen from his Juhu residence and went straight to Sanjay Dutt’s place at Bandra, where Bipasha & Mugdha were already present. He was in the wilderness for a while. But with the success of ‘Life Partner’, the original darling of the B’town box-office, Govinda, seems to be back in full form and for good.

‘Life Partner’ has clicked with audiences and the Govinda-magic seems to be working all over again. For one, how could a film released on the holy day of ‘Janmashthami’ or ‘Govinda’, as it is called, not be a hit for the actor, who takes his name from it?

The film, which sees him paired up with the beauteous Amrita Rao, features the actor in the quirkiest role of them all, as a marriage-averse divorce lawyer. But the audiences have just lapped it up, even braving through the Swine Flu epidemic, to get their dose of Govinda, both inside and outside the theatres. While his last big success was the similarly titled ‘Partner’, ‘Life Partner’ shares no connection with the earlier movie, apart from Govinda as the common factor. While ‘Partner’ saw him share screen space with Salman Khan, ‘Life Partner’ stars Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D’Souza and Prachi Desai alongside Govinda and Amrita Rao and has been directed by Rumy Jaffrey, with Abbas-Mustan as producers. Now one wonders, if the ‘Partner’ tag is a lucky gem for Govinda and whether we ought to expect more such titles in the future.

However, the most interesting aspect of it all is the fact that originally, Govinda was just meant to appear in a cameo role in the film. But with him working his magic, the makers realized that ‘Life Partner’ needed to have him in a longer track and kept extending the role, till it eventually turned into a starring role. With the actor in such fine form, it truly seems like his golden days are back. For once again, Govinda ala re!

‘I will sock his face’ says Smilie Suri

‘I will sock the face of a guy who tries to act funny with me. I am at all not like the character that I had played in Kalyug. In fact I believe in giving as good as I get and that is exactly what my character in N. Chandra’s film YEH MERA INDIA is about. My character Asha is a simple Mumbai girl but she is not weak. When harassed she treats her boss with contempt and aggression. She stands up for her right against the people & the circumstances,” says Smilie Suri.

In fact, in real life too, when she was harassed at Mahim Church, she had refused to take any nonsense quietly. When two boys had pointed fingers ta her and passed lewd comments, Smilie had caught them and kicked them good. “Just because women are physically weaker, they don’t have to take anything lying down. But I believe that girls must take self defense lessons to safe guard themselves. We have to maintain our own dignity ourselves because nobody has the time to help any damsel in distress. And there are too many wolves around to fight.”

She had also done ballet as the character of Hasina in the famous play ‘Vagina Monologue’. In ‘Y.M.I.’, Smilie Suri is playing the character of ‘Asha’, a middle class Maharashtrian girl, who is working in a call center, just like today’s young girls, she is very strong and unwilling to give up or accept defeat. The film, which is the story of 24 hours, has been shot at real location while Smilie has only two changes in the entire film. Smilie claims anybody can relate to the characters shown in the film & one would walk out with the feeling of pride at being an Indian. Its releasing on 18^th August.

In first lot more than one lac copy of album sale and first time this album has got three sponsors. This album is based on the Kanvariyas of Bhagwan Bholenath. A new company M-Series entered in the market with this Series and Manoj Tiwari. This company with the venture of Front Line Entertainment will  purchase music rights of Bhojpuri films and also promote to new singers, lyricist and music directors too. Very soon M-Series will also do contract with Bhojopuri singers like Pavan Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ and Kalpana too. Front Line Entertainment Company having 800 crores of turn over, will also produce big budget Bhojpuri films. This company has already signed Bhojpuri Super Star Manoj Tiwari for his some films. Manoj Tiwari is very happy with this album. He says company has first shoot promo of my album and show to all dealers in a conference and then according to dealer’s advise shoot the video. Else big music companies forget the advise of the dealers. I like this new idea. Shyma Dehati has written the songs for “HEY MAHADEV” and music by Madhukar Anand. This album has contained total 8 songs. “chhoda bhang ke gola baba pepsi piyal kara” (Baba forget Bhang and sip Pepsi)  and “tanik Nandi ke de di aaram Naino car aayel ba” (Give some rest to Nandi, Naino Car introduced) are became very popular. Janiva Roy’s third music album released in Mumbai

Janiva Roy’s third music album released in Mumbai.  Playback singer  Janiva Roy’s  third  Ghazals album  “ Ehsaas Pyar Ka ”  released by Chief Guest actress Sushmita Sen in Mumbai at hotel J W Marriott on  8th July, 2009.

Janeva is her show-biz name. Her real name is Rumpa Roy. She is  born & brought at Kolkatta. Janeva started singing at the age of 8 years under the guidance of her parents Shikha and Bapi Roy and  her singing talent was developed by  Shipra Basu, Md Nasir Khan and Ustad Mashkoor Khan. She learnt Ghazal singing from  Om Prakash Bindre

After that we approached to Manoj Tiwari and when technicians told their heart views that producing a film with Manoj Tiwari then Manoj Tiwari was also surprised. So, this type making of “CHHOTKA BHAIYA ZINDABAD” was started. Now its ready for release. Songs of “CHHOTKA BHAIYA ZINDABAD” are already super hit. “CHHOTKA BHAIYA ZINDABAD” is releasing on 10^th of July, 2009 in Bihar with 40 prints. Atul Kasbekar, the CEO of Bling! Entertainment Solutions Pvt.Ltd, was recently in Abu Dhabi. He was there to shoot Sonam Kapoor for the cover of a leading magazine called Harpers Bazaar.
Atul Kasbekar was with Sonam at "The Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi", and this property has been built over a period of 4 years using 20,000 workmen. Around US$ 3 Billion were spent to prepare the
property. Says a source, “Harpers Bazaar has recieved a fabulous response after having Sonam on the cover. Atul has done a fantastic job and bought the best out of her. Sonam is looking absolutely gorgeous!”

Hot Shaurya Chauhaan caused Mercury to rise dangerously in Delhi

Hot and sexy actress model Shaurya Chauhaan has fallen head over heels in love with Delhi City. She was recently in Delhi for her fashion shoot for Mod Art International, Paris and had to visit so many unusual places, the pulses of real Delhi, for her shoot.

Comments she, “I  have been to Delhi so many times before and thought that I knew the city.  Infact, my brother lives in Delhi but this time I realised that I was seeing the real Delhi for the first time. From Janpath to Kutubminar to Chandichok to Khan Market.... Sarojini Nagar to Metro. God, its bizarre.. People with so many colours, Tourists and all this in just two days of my shooting for mod art international Paris. Since I was shooting a documentary film for them, which required me to walk on streets, pose in teeny-weeny clothes oh God it was hilarious,” and goes on to add, “I remember we were shooting at paranthewali gali....and we turn and see everywhere people gathered around us and me in this short dress...But we went on with the shoot inspite of all ogling at me and then I went on to eat paranthas there with my whole crew,” she giggle.

Shaurya Chauhaan’s first film was Mumbai Salsaa, while her second Horn Ok Pleassss… is waiting in the wings. She has signed 3 film contract with Zoom, has done an item song with Arjun Rampal & Mika and has two international ads in her pocket. Comments she, “I loved doing the ad of L’Oreal. It was a déjà vu for my experience during the ad shoot of kingfisher calendar.”

Shaurya’s other films on the floor are Hotel Park Street with Amir Bashir and Rotary opposite Sudhanshu Pandey & Rohit Roy with director Sarthak Das Gupta. Shaurya, who is a gymnast, is trained in aerobics and Classical dance too. She has passion for adventure sports and had learned theatre under Nadira Babbar and was involved with the theatre group - Ek Jut, where she did a play titled ‘Raja Bahadur’. She has featured in a music video called “Sarhadein” directed by Marliyn and has played the lead role in a Malayalam film, titled “Wattam”, directed by Priyadarsan.
