Kalbelia dancer Gulabo Sapera did was to indulge in
defamation and slander towards Pooja Misrra.
Gulabo was quoted saying, “She (Pooja) smokes a lot. So, she
went into the smoking zone smoked a cigarette and something
else too. I am sure she is on drugs! And then she started
behaving like a mad person, broke the mop and all.”
In an interview, Gulabo added, “Pooja would often ask me for
incense sticks which I never refused to share until I got to
know what she used it for. Honestly, I couldn't believe when
I saw her taking a lit incense stick to the washroom. What
on earth will people do with a lit stick in the washroom?
I'm sure she would either eat the remains or snort it.
Uske baad toh woh badal jaati thi. Pooja is such an
addict that she has even stolen those sticks from the packet
I had.”

now playing Holi in Mumbai. Just after coming from show Zor
ka Jhatke in which she was runner up, she is excited about
Holi. From last 2 years she was not in India at the
time of Holi, so she missed the fun of this festival. But
this time she is full of enthusiasm. She is in Mumbai and
planned to play Holi. Claudia says, “I like this colorful
festival of India, But I prefer to play with dry colors and

location.Vinod Mukhi who is the director of the film was
very happy as his film is complete.Udita Goswami who plays
the main lead came from USA directly came for shooting of
the film.She was looking fresh.Aryan Vaid and Hollywood
actress Sofia Hayat also participated in the shoot and
party.Sofia Hayat and Udita Goswami also played holi on
the set.Udita told media that she is very happy to be part
of this film.Shooting and party went till 12 midnight as

Goswami turns a year older on 9th of February though people
wish her wrongly always on 2nd September as on the net
wrong birthday is there and after a point she stopped
clarifying to people as no matter what people send her
birthday cake and flowers in Sept.. She has recently
attended Sundance Film Festival in Utah where Aamir Khan had
gone last year. Speaking from L.A. she says, “ Since Aamir
Khan was here last year people are speaking very high of
him”. She further adds, I am not missing Mumbai as such but
missing my dogs and ambiance of home and ofcourse ginger
tea. I would miss celebrating my birthday with friends and
family which I do every year in India”
Gauri Karnik makes her
theatre debut
Gauri Karnik,
 girl
from Lucky Ali’s film SUR, has made her theater debut with
the hilarious play ‘Kya Family Hai’. And she is playing not
one but TWO different characters of Ragini and Yamini
opposite Vaquar Sheikh. Says Gauri, “when Pramod offered me
this play I was initially skeptical because it is a very
different medium. But then I accepted it as a challenge and
am very happy with my decision. It’s a clean comedy and
family oriented. It also gives massage while making people
laugh. The auditorium was almost full. I saw the response of
the crowd and the way they were reacting to our punches.
Theater is really difficult and we rehearsed day & night,
but all that hard work paid off when the crowd gave us
standing ovation. It was all so beautiful.”
Produced and directed by
Pramod Singh, this is a family comedy with a social message.
After premiering on February
at Rangsharda, now this play will be staged again on
Saturday, 12th February at 7.45 PM at Sophia Bhabha

at a suburban multiplex.
As soon as the horror
premiere of ‘Kaalo The Desert Witch’ strikes the Cinemax
theatre at Versova the unexpected made its way; for none
other than but the main lead of the movie, 12year old Swini
Khara who plays the character of Shona in the film.Getting a
grand welcome by the management of Cinemax Swini was very
happy with the surrounding until the shock came in. Swini
was not allowed inside the film auditorium because the
horror flick Kaalo is an ‘A’ certificate film, only for
adults. Swini and her family along with her very close
friend, 11 year old
Ahsaas Channa tried to argue
with the authorities but to no avail.
A witness said, “Swini and
Ahsaas put up a strong argument with the management. They
told them that if they could be the leads of a horror film,
why couldn’t they watch it?”
Swini said, “We were very
disappointed. I can’t see my own film in a theatre. Guess
now, I’ll see it on DVD only.”
Impeccable argument but the
theatre officials, it seems, were adamant. “Rules are rules.
We never break them. If I allow one kid to enter an ‘Adults’
film, then I would have to lax the rule for at least hundred
others. We never discriminate.” Said Girish Wankhede, the
management head of the Cinemax premieres.

Sheizwood, Maushmi ,Producer and actor Rajaindra Jaina ,
choreographer Sachin Gupta and Himanshu were present at
Spice cinemas Gold Class Lounge. DJ Sheizwood told everyone
that this is his 75th album. “Wow, I never realized that I
have already made 75 albums. But I have to make lots more,”

Neetu Chandra denies
match-fixing allegations
Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra today denied having any
links with Pakistani bowler Mohammad Asif, who is at the
centre of a ‘spot-fixing’ scandal that has rocked world
cricket.
The controversy began with most Indian television channels
discussing a “leaked” doc ument,
which they claimed, was prepared by the Interpol and
Scotland Yard for the Pakistan Cricket Board. Apparently,
this document contains various phone numbers of people who
interacted with Mohammad Asif in 2009.
The TV reports stated that in this document, the only mobile
number from Mumbai, belonged of actress Neetu Chandra, and
insinuated that she could be involved in the infamous
match-fixing scandal. They further claimed that according to
the document, the actress had made two phone calls and
exchanged SMS’s with the controversial cricketer, discussing
sensitive cricket issues and deals.
But Neetu Chandra’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar vehemently
denied all the allegations. “Personally, Neetu does not know
Mohammad Asif or any Pakistani cricketer for that matter.
Her name is being unceremoniously dragged in the
match-fixing debate with baseless allegations,” said the
celebrity publicist.
“Neetu didn’t even know how Asif looked like. Within minutes
of this controversy breaking out, I met her and showed her
his picture from the internet on my BlackBerry. Neetu
glanced at it and almost jumped from her chair, joking, ‘Oh,
he’s too dark’. She also doesn’t know or understand how her
cell number has featured on such a scandalous list. If it
indeed has, it could well be a conspiracy,” added the PR
specialist.
Owing to her active association with sports, recently, Neetu
also became one of the few privileged Bollywood celebrities
to have the honour of running with the Commonwealth Games
torch (popularly known as the Queen’s Baton) in her hometown
Patna. Apart from being a regular basketball player, the
actress is a Black Belt 2nd Dan in Taekwondo, having
participated in various martial arts tournaments at a
district, national, as well as international level. Though
Bhagwagar revealed, she is not a cricket fan.
This year, Neetu has an impressive line-up of films like

the national award

On 2nd September, a senior
Congress leader Mr. Oscar Fernandes was present as a chief

Developments” on the okation of 18th JAI National Award,
held in hotel “The Ashoka” New Delhi Which is considered the
most prestigious award as it is Organized by Journalist
Association of India and apart from the film, it also caters

best Lawyer Best IAS Officer, best chief Minister, and many

Nasser’s film “Shadow” got 4
awards. Nasser Khan got the award “best New Comer Critics”,
for film Shadow and Shadow got the award for best
experimented film of the year. Not only this but Fight
master Mehmood Akber Bakshi, the action director of film
Shadow, got best action director of the year, And this was
not the end but the director of the film Shadow Rohit Nayyar
also got the award of best experimented director.

Nasser also said that he is
coming with 2 more films which will be released by 2011 and
the details of it, will be announced soon.
He also said that it was a
proud moment for me when I was receiving the award and the
whole auditorium was standing and clapping for me as it was
not happening for other achievers.

Mirage, is based upon some hard facts, and some true events.
But, a dramatic license has been taken to make this a work
of fiction. The story is bold, hard hitting, potent and yet

India. USHA, a young girl in her twenties, marries MICKY, an
NRI from London and goes for a never-
to-be forgotten honeymoon holiday in Kulu Manali, North
India. Three months later, her husband MICKY goes back to
London with a promise that he would send all the required
legal papers, immigration documents and the visa as soon as
he hits London. Several months into it, she is still waiting
for those papers to arrive. She is tired of playing the
‘waiting game’. She refuses to be like thousand of those
girls who are anxiously waiting for those illusive papers to
arrive so that they would have an official permission to go
and
join their husbands wherever they happen to be in the world.
Unlike those thousands of girls who are still waiting, USHA
takes a bold step. Three months later, she lands in London.
She gets a tremendous shock – both emotional and cultural,
when she discovers that the things were not just what she
has been told in superlatives before the marriage. MICKY’S
pigsty living conditions irritated her to no end. She also
takes it in her stride, his relationship with an English
woman – ROSI, a divorcee. SHE could also put up with MICKY’S

The story develops many layers and moves forward on several

eyes of young RAJI, one of USHA’S friends who lives in the
same house.
One day, USHA meets a black young student, ANDY ROBERTS 20,
who has taken up a casual job during the summer holidays. He
is kind, caring and loving. They get to know each other. He
takes an instant liking to her. He takes her out and devotes
a lot of time towards her well-being. That was the beginning
of a new life for USHA. Is that what she had looked forward
to while in India?
A time comes when she has to decide whether to carry on
living in that burning hell created, she thinks, by fate and
her husband or to leave that for a more peaceful, serene and
loving life with ANDY ROBERTS in the lush valleys of
Scotland? Will she opt for a new life against her beliefs

death. While she is going through that emotional upheaval,

seen in Mohra says that she is strong village girl who get

Multi crore project the film has been shot in remote
villages of Haryana,Pinjore and Panchkula.Dailogues of the
film are written by Sahib Singh and the singers are
Rajwinder Singh(brother of Sukhwinder Singh),Sapna Awasthi
and Madhu Sharma.
It was great experience making the film with great actors
