'Ziyarat
The story of
the film "Ziyarat"
is about a young Muslim named Abdul Kadir a nd
his wife Mariyam who are going to go for Hajj. But during
this, a terrorist attack takes place and in order to save
their lives, Abdul's friend Dina Nath and his wife Girija
run away and hide somewhere. Amid all this, their small
child gets separated from them. Abdul and Mariyam try to
find Dina Nath and Girija all over Kashmir but do not
succeed.
Abdul and
Mariyam now decide to look after the child and hence cancel
their Hajj trip. For two years continuously they try to find
their lost friend. After two years they come to know that
all the Kashmiri Pandits who resided in Kashmir have left
the Kashmir Valley and have shifted in refugee camps near
Kashmir. Abdul decides to search the refugee camps too.

this, see the film "Ziyarat"
the best part of which is, that all its cast and crew of the
film is Kashmiri, whether it is the director, producer,
music director or the actors.
From the
banner of JSWM, this film is produced and directed and
written by Suresh K. Goswami. The songs of the movie are
written by Saghar Sehrai and the music in them is given by
Bhajan Sopori. The actors in the movie are Irfan Choudhary,
Poonam Sudan, Vipin Kumar Goswami and Sagar Sehrai.
This film was
appreciated in Los Angeles Film Festival and Fame
Walk International Film Festival. Also, this film was
shown in Dhaka Film Festival.

Ritu's shutterbug tamanna!
Rituparna turns photographer with Bas Ek Tamanna. The actor
who was shooting for the film at Lucknow was so taken in by
the beauty of the city that she picked up her camera and
turned shutterbug shooting myriad moods of the city. What is
interesting is that director Rahul Kapoor and producer
Subhan Aziz were elated to see that some of the locales she
captured could actually be used for the shoot.
Says producer Subhan Aziz, "I was so taken in by a haveli
Ritu shot that I felt that we should shoot there. We tried
coaxing the owner, but he would not relent. Finally, when we
explained to him how the photographer in Ritu discovered his
haveli, he simply loved the pictures. And Ritu was gracious
enough to gift him a frame."
Now, that is one side of the talented actress we didn't

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s much talked about “Sahib biwi aur
gangster” which was shot across virgin locations of Gujarat
completed its 30 day back to back shoot. It is also the
first Hindi feature film being shot on Alexa and going by
industry news, the results have come out fantastic.
Produced by Brandsmith & Tigmanshu Dhulia Films, the film
stars Jimmy Shergill, Randeep Hooda, Mahie Gill, Deepal
Shaw, Vipin Sharma, Shreya Narain, Deepraj Rana and Mukesh
Tyagi in pivotal roles. Noted cinematographer Aseem Mishra,
with films like New York, Once upon a time in Mumbai, Paan
Singh Tomar & Band Bajaa Baarat tucked under his belt, shot
on Alexa. "Results have been great and the camera has been
behaving well. I tested the camera and thought that it was

happy with the shoot. “Logistics was a major issue as we
were shooting in the middle of nowhere, but my entire crew
worked very hard and the actors have performed brilliantly.
As time was a constraint, all major occasions were
celebrated on location including Jimmy Shergill’s birthday,”
said Rahul Mittra, visibly exhausted after a month long
hectic schedule. “The audience is going to love the look of
the film and the actors, especially Jimmy and Randeep. I am
sure the hard work put in by everybody is going to be
rewarded, “added Mittra who is aiming for a summer 2011
release. "We look like a mess. Some of the actors have
swollen faces and lips due to bee stings. These will
obviously show on camera, more so since we're using a very
sophisticated camera, the Alexa, for the first time in
Indian cinema," said Dhulia who had to face the wrath of
honey bees while shooting.

Bollywood. No wonder when she was offered Sanjay Sharma's
film Dunno Y.. Na Jaane Kyun she grabbed it with open
arms.Sanjay had clearly stated to her that its a bold role
and so there would be skin show and a kiss in the film ,for
which she instantly agreed.But the day when she had to
actually wear bikini she developed cold feet and started
throwing tantrums that the bikini colour is not happening
and she would prefer to wear short skirt instead.But the
director put down and said short skirt was out of
question.It created a major argument between them and
Rituparna Sengupta left the set and locked herself in her
vanity van.But after two hours she conveyed the message to
director that she is fine in wearing bikini.Reliable source
report -it was her co star Yuvraaj Parashar who finally
convinced her to wear bikini as there is more than
friendship between them.On being asked about the incident
Rituparna admits- 'Ya I was little conscious to wear bikini
but i wore it as I am professional actor'.Then why she made
such a hue and cry about it?Nothing as dramatic happened,
there was just a discussion and I agreed'.When asked Sanjay
he refused to comment.Yuvraaj says- I am not aware if such a
incident happened!On his equation with Rituparna he says- We
are good friends thats it.

film presented Kapil the composition of the track Kapil's
instant reaction was wish Lata ji sing this song.He told
Nikhil he needs to make some really good film so that one
day he is good enough to approach Lata ji for a song.Nikhil
told him they can still try one never know she may agree to
sing if she likes the song and the story.And as it was
destined ,when Lataji heard the composition she liked it so

Revolution' Party
Mehul Kumar’s Krantiveer-The Revolution, Sequel to the super
hit Krantiveer, is all set to release on 25th June 2010.
Before the release the entire team got together to reminisce
the fun days they all had while shooting for the film.

turned up to have good time. Director Mehul Kumar came with
his wife Roshan and son Zoheb Bloch. Daughter Jahan Bloch
